Two weekends ago I attended The Field’s wedding. A lovely night with yummy food, great laughter, and many smiles. I decided to make my dress for the wedding as mentioned here, and here. The photo below is the final result. For my third dress ever constructed I’m really proud of myself. To my friends out there, if you have a better photo of the dress please email it to me, I’m not in love with this one.
A few hours into the reception...
This might become a tradition, me making my dresses, for the million weddings I have coming up this year. That way no one will have the same dress and I can say “thanks, I made it!”

I was “getting inspiration?” while at work today and came across this Brooch, online.

It made me think of how Dale Chihuly‘s work makes me smile. During his design process he splatters paint around, on paper, before he gets started on the glass blowing.
Aren't they Lovely?
